Alex
Ervin

Communications Consultant

Alex has four years of social media and communications experience that includes internal corporate communications, website management, and proposal writing and editing. She specializes in messaging that conveys company culture and creates connection with employees. Alex’s experience in analyzing social media trends and search engine optimization (SEO) has proven effective in maximizing traffic and audience reach as well as message impact. She also provides proposal writing support, with a focus on compliance and effective communication of capabilities.

Alex’s experience was initially gained as a sportswriter for an SB Nation NHL blog. This is where she honed her skills in concise, targeted messaging and connecting directly with readers. Over the last four years, Alex has consistently provided articles including game recaps, opinion pieces, and breaking news. Initially writing in a volunteer contributor position, Alex’s work earned her a promotion to associate editor. Since joining SRC, Alex has applied her expertise internally to directing and managing ongoing SRC blog and social media posts as well as assisting our clients with their social media and communications programs. Additionally, Alex’s writing skills and ability to translate complex ideas into clear and understandable prose have proven valuable in working with clients to write effective proposals.
 

Pat FLannery

Organizational Strategies Consultant

Pat, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), has 31 years of experience in the Federal professional services market. He spent more than 21 years with Stanley Associates and later CGI Federal following the company’s acquisition. Early in his Stanley career, Pat served in program management positions for a number of the company’s key customers including the US Marine Corps, Army, Department of State, and Department of Energy. Later, he guided the company’s proposal management, communications, and business intelligence organizations as Stanley’s Vice President of Corporate Development. Pat’s involvement in both delivery and growth operations provides him with a broad base of experience across internally and externally focused areas supporting a rapidly growing organization.

After Stanley Associates, Pat teamed with an investment/ operating partner and, backed by Bluestone Capital Partners, purchased GAP Solutions, a diversified professional services firm. As Chief Operating Officer Pat was a critical member of the team that improved operations and executed a growth strategy increasing revenue by more than $12M in just three months.

​

Subsequent to GAP’s sale, Pat joined KO Distilling in the fall of 2019 as both an investor and Executive Vice President. He helped guide the company through a period of growth while faced with the challenges associated with the pandemic. He was primarily responsible for sales and marketing, contributing to a 50% increase in revenue through account management, product development, and market expansion.

Pat’s diverse experience combined with his strong people skills makes him incredibly effective in building consensus around best practice solutions to business challenges.

mike Innella

Organizational Strategies Consultant

Mike is an experienced technology executive with extensive success in leading government contracting organizations, especially those with a focus on IT services. He is a results-focused strategic visionary and business change leader who leverages technical expertise and business acumen to institute initiatives which create positive change, efficiencies and increased profitability. Mike is especially noted for building and motivating highly competent teams to implement his vision and initiatives. Recent accomplishments include:

 

Implemented cross-functional processes and strategies allowing company to scale from an 8a contractor to successfully competing on full and open programs. This included reducing the overhead multiplier by 13%; increasing profitability to over 10%; implementing ISO and CMMI quality programs as well as other initiatives supporting the company’s growth from 100 to 300 employees.  

 

​Defined, developed and executed strategies to increase the viability of a company as a prime contractor supporting government clients on large scale acquisition programs. Additionally, increased professional services revenue by 25%, profitability by 80% and reduced overhead costs by 17% over two years by focusing on high return services and reorganizing to maximize efficiencies and reduce duplication of effort.​​
